Be a part of The Art of Reading book club, where art, literature, and mystery converge. In May, we embark on a surreal journey with The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida by Shehan Karunatilaka. Enter a world where photographer Maali Almeida wakes up dead, submerged in the tranquil depths of Beira Lake. With an enigmatic murder to solve and a myriad of spectral suspects to unravel, time is of the essence for Maali in the afterlife. Within the span of seven moons, he must connect with his most beloved individuals and guide them to unearth the photographs that hold the power to shake Sri Lanka to its core.
Coffee and light snacks will be served. Please save your spot by Wednesday, May 8th. All participants are required to check in at the Museum rotunda admissions desk then meet at the Museum boardroom.
