Be part of the Art of Reading Book Club, where art, literature, and art history converge.
Join fellow Museum Members as we discuss, The Devil in Montmartre A Mystery in Fin de Siècle by Gary Inbinder. A murder shocks Montmartre—and Paris fears Jack the Ripper has arrived. Amid the glitter of the 1889 World’s Fair, Inspector Achille Lefebvre races to catch the “Paris Ripper,” with Toulouse-Lautrec considered one of his suspects. Coffee and light snacks will be served. The book club will be followed by a docent-led tour of art works relating to the book.
Please save your spot by Wednesday, May 6. Prior to entry all participants are required to check in at the SDMA rotunda admissions desk, after which you will meet in the Museum boardroom.
