Bloom Bash is the radiant late-night fête that kicks off the Art Alive weekend, dazzling with the bohemian glamour of Toulouse-Lautrec’s Paris and the electric spirit of the Moulin Rouge. A celebration where art, music, and revelry collide, this unforgettable soirée brings together le Tout-Paris for a night of pure enchantment.
Guests will indulge in exquisite cuisine and craft cocktails, discover immersive art experiences and captivating performances, and dance until midnight in true Parisian style. Bloom Bash 2026 also offers an exclusive first look at the spectacular Art Alive floral creations throughout the Museum, blooming with Parisian allure.

Proceeds from Bloom Bash and Art Alive, The San Diego Museum of Art’s signature fundraiser and annual floral exhibition, benefit education, outreach, and art initiatives year-round. No refunds available. Bloom Bash tickets are tax deductible (less $75 per ticket). Individual members may purchase one discounted ticket; all other members may purchase two discounted tickets. Any tickets above this allocation may be canceled and refunded. If you are unable to attend, please return your tickets in advance of Bloom Bash so that your donation is fully deductible. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of Bloom Bash cancellation due to inclement weather, all tickets are considered fully deductible charitable donations.

Josephine Rice is a Seattle-based artist who explores floral paper art, murals, and sculptural experiences as a form of visual medicine, using vibrant ombré color and layered, location-inspired botanicals to evoke beauty, well-being, escapism, and a reminder of nature’s simultaneous simplicity and complexity.
